LiveLifeBlue: Recognizing employers who are making a difference

We created the LiveLifeBlue awards program to recognize South Carolina employers who play an active role in promoting health and wellness. Each year, we award the “Blue Shoe” to companies that are making a real difference through initiatives such as:

• Tobacco-free workplaces
• On-site gym access and fitness classes
• Company-sponsored intramural sports leagues
• Creative fitness challenges and incentive programs
• Healthy cafeteria menu, catering and vending machine options
• On-site flu shots, health screenings and health clinics
• Incentive programs for completing healthy activities
• On-site childcare
• Financial counseling and educational reimbursement
• Ongoing educational campaigns

Our awards committee chooses winners for each region, plus an overall winner for the state of South Carolina.
