Affordable vision care from a national network of providers

Vision care benefits are valuable to your employees — and cost-effective for you. This low-cost benefit provides vision checkups plus eyeglasses or contacts for the whole family. And it’s something you can offer with a relatively small impact on your benefits budget.

Healthy vision plans

Our Healthy Vision plans can be packaged with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina medical or dental coverage. Plan designs include coverage for eye exams, lenses, frames and contacts from a large network of national providers.

Healthy Vision plan benefits are available through EyeMed Vision Care. EyeMed is an independent company that manages a vision provider network on behalf of BlueCross. The network includes Target Optical, Pearle Vision, LensCrafters, EyeMed’s independent provider network, ContactsDirect and Glasses.com.

Businesses with 350 or more employees can even arrange pop-up eye clinics through EyeMed, for an additional cost, to make vision care even more accessible to their employees.

Discount offerings

We also offer separate vision discount programs in addition to our Healthy Vision plans to provide additional options and savings for members. And you can offer some discount benefits without offering a vision insurance plan.
